Welcome to our blog!
We are not here to preach the ministry of unrefined salt in all it’s glory. It won’t improve your health (unless you are consuming too much refined salt). It won’t extend your life (beyond typical life expectancies). And, it won’t help you walk on water!
That having been said, we WILL be introducing you to a number of different unrefined sea salts from around the globe that DO make a world of difference in the flavor profile of the foods you prepare, cook and / or eat. Along with that, we’ll share enough recipes to fill a salt mine. Ok, that might take a while, but seriously we plan on this blog being a regular thing. However, it’s not as simple as it sounds. It requires lots of cooking, testing and tasting in the kitchen; every day, week in and week out (oh how we suffer)…but someone has to do it! (we’ll try not to act like we enjoy it too much)
Why a blog? Because we want to share the fun with as many people as possible! And THAT is the truth, the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth!
Maybe you are a salt-a-holic? A salt junkie in the making? Or you have a friend plagued with one of the aforementioned conditions and are trying to understand how they came to be in such an intractable state?
Whatever brought you here, we’re glad you came! And if you are foodie…we understand that you don’t just want read about it. You want to experience it, enjoy it…up close and personal. We encourage you to do just that! (OK, you will have to live somewhat vicariously through our posts, but you dont have to stop there.) We will give you an outlet for your culinary expression, a means to your stomach’s end and a way to learn that encourages more than just reading. Come on, let’s go, it’s time to start your palette training. You only eat three meals a day, we say you should enjoy each and every one of them!
We will post every Monday and Thursday guaranteed. You might get an additional bonus post every so often to keep you in the loop on new products being released or whatever else we might want to share in addition to our regularly scheduled content.
